The season will change once again, so let’s prepare for the cold and darkness to come with plains-infused electroacoustics and a couple of live-scored gloomy/surreal films.
Justin Houser is bringing micro-movement/long-form electroacoustics from Lubbock TX, his set will be sandwiched between two live scores:
Rachel Weaver, Randall Minick, Sarah Ruth Alexander, and Monte Espina, are joining forces for the third time – live scoring 3 short films: Janice Findley’s “Beyond Kabuki” (1986), Matheus Marchetti’s “O Bosque Dos Sonambulos” (2017), & Michael Woods’ “Diz Knee Wurld” (2012).
Samantha Riott is on tour from New York and will join Aaron Gonzalez and Michael Briggs for a live score of Cosmotropia de Xam’s “Acid Babylon” (2020).
