For the tenth Molten Plains we have Torches Mauves coming from Kansas City, which is the free improvisation duo of Seth Andrew Davis on guitar/electronics and Evan Verploegh on drums/percussion.
As a ten-piece, Nova Ensemble will perform works by Frederic Rzewski, Kaija Saariaho, Kate Soper, and James Tenney.
For this occasion, Louise Fristensky + Michael Meadows + Sarah Jay are returning as a limitless possibilities trio.
